The 3 hidden cost drivers
Managing schedules and time tracking in Excel looks free. In reality, three cost drivers add up year after year.
1. Manager time
A manager spends on average 6 hours per week building schedules, recounting hours and preparing payroll in Excel. Over a year, that is nearly 282 hours, almost two months of work. At a loaded manager cost (around 35 euros per hour), that is roughly 9,900 euros per year per manager.
2. Paid clocking errors
